        NEWS: Who's the Best?

        BY: BOOKMANS

The votes are in - Phoenix New Times named Bookmans Phoenix the "Best Used CD Store On A Budget" and Tucson Weekly's readers once again chose Bookmans as the place to go for "Best Used Books." Thanks, Arizona!

The start of Fall means the independent weekly "Best Of..." lists - those glorious, fat issues where readers vote on the their favorite shops and spots in town - are out. Bookmans is proud to have two more honors to add to our growing list of ways we make our customers and their wallets happy.

Phoenix New Times' Best Of 2007 has chosen Bookmans Phoenix as Best Used CD Store on Budget:

"Prices range from $3 to $10 on most single discs from a full range of musical styles. We snagged a CD reissue of Dean Martin's Christmas with Dino, the new Skinny Puppy, and a collection of Sesame Street songs covered by rock singers, all for less than $20. Listening stations make for no-risk shopping, and free Wi-Fi access means that, while we're scouting out that B-52's box set, we won't have to miss a single incoming e-mail."

And for the third year in a row, Tucson Weekly's readers voted Bookmans their favorite destination for Best Used Books:

"Books, music, video games, magazines... The selection is unparalleled, the prices unbeaten."

And what did the Weekly say last year?

"What can we say about Bookmans? It's practically an institution. For one thing, it's huge, with by far the best selection of used books anywhere in town. It also offers CDs, movies, DVDs and video games at very reasonable prices, and it's a great place to bring your old books and music if you need to clean out your den, or if you just need some extra money."

        And the year before that?

"It seems every time someone walks into the place, there's the option of walking out with a handful of stuff - for a fraction of what we would have paid new."

Want to see what the fuss is about? Learn about us, visit our stores and see what we sell, how we buy, and what YOU get. And thanks to our loyal customers who've made Bookmans one of Arizona's most loved destinations for books, music, movies, video games, and lots more, for over 30 years.
