Bookmans celebrates 30 years with a free concert in Reid Park, featuring Calexico with Mariachi Luz de Luna, Chicago Blues Reunion, The Insomniacs, and Chuck "Wagon" Maultsby.

Bookmans Entertainment Exchange will celebrate its 30th anniversary with Party in the Park, an all-day, outdoor concert at Reid Park on Sat., Nov. 3, 2007. The event will be free, open to the public, and feature live music throughout the day, ending with Calexico and Mariachi Luz de Luna.
In addition to music, the Party will feature local vendor and organization booths, various activities for adults and kids alike, and affordable food and beverages. Bookmans will also be giving away t-shirts and other prizes.

- Sat., Nov. 3, 11 a.m. - 8:30 p.m in Reid Park's Band Shell Area
- Free and open to the public.
- Calexico and Mariachi Luz de Luna will headline the show; Chicago Blues Reunion, The Insomniacs, and Chuck "Wagon" Maultsby and a Few Old Wheels also to perform.
- Food, drinks, and beer will be sold on-site.
- Several booths from local vendors and organizations.
- Kids' Area filled with jumping castles, activites, and more.
- Games, prizes, and giveaways.
- Event partners include 92.9 The Mountain, The Rialto Theatre and KXCI.
