Mr. McFeely and Bookmans invite you to wear your favorite sweater on Thursday, March 20, in memory of everyone's favorite neighbor, Mister Rogers. Yes, we know this is Arizona. Yes, we know it's currently quite toasty. But Mister Rogers only has one 80th birthday!

Thanks to Ben C at Speedway for the heads up! Thursday, March 20, marks the late Fred Rogers' 80th birthday, and David Newell (Mr. McFeely) is asking everyone to wear their favorite sweater in remembrance of the neighborliness Mister Rogers stood for.

Participating Bookmans locations will be taking photos of employees and customers in their sweaters, and we encourage each person to write a small note about why their sweater is special. Was it a gift from a beloved aunt? Were you wearing it during your first kiss? Did you knit it yourself? Or why not snap a quick shot of yourself in the store and email it to us at heatherc(at)bookmans.com? We'll include your photo and sweater story in our Flickr gallery. We'll also pass along all photos and stories to Family Communications at Mr. McFeely's request.
