
On Saturday, July 5, Chandler Cinemas, the valley's cutting edge art house movie theater, brings a taste of South America to town with At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul, the 1963 cult classic psychedelic horror movie by legendary Brazilian director Coffin Joe.

Tucson chanteuse Marianne Dissard and preacher's son Will Elliott team up for a mini-tour of Bookmans' stores this August, taking their respective French pop and faux-folk beyond Bookmans' Summer Music Series in Tucson and up to Phoenix and Flagstaff.

July 19th and 20th: the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society presents the 11th annual Arizona Highland Celtic Festival at Foxglenn Park in Flagstaff, featuring Celtic food, music, dance, competitions, and guest of honor Diana Gabaldon, who will be signing at the Bookmans booth.

Due to unforeseen events, the Zinghoppers have been forced to cancel all 105 shows of their summer tour, which unfortunately includes their five scheduled appearances at Bookmans' stores in Tucson, Phoenix, Mesa, and Flagstaff.
Playoff spots and rankings are in contention with June's Arizona Derby Dames double-header. The Castle Sports Club has been packed every month in 2008 as Derby Dames fans root for their favorite teams and track the season standings.
