The Family Arts Festival is Tucson's premier, FREE, annual celebration of the arts and the rich cultural heritage of the region. Stop by the Bookmans-sponsored La Placita Village Area on Sun, Jan 13, to decorate your very own reusable canvas bag.
Visit the Bookmans table at the The Glassman Foundation's Family Arts Festival on Sunday, Jan. 13, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and take part in a craft project that's fun for the entire family! We'll have reusable canvas bags ready for your special artistic touch (while supplies last) and other fun treats throughout the day.
The Tucson Pima Arts Council is a local organizaition that "fosters artistic expression, educational development and the economic growth of our diverse community by supporting, promoting and advocating for arts and culture." Their Family Arts Festival is an annual event that takes place throughout public spaces downtown and features "continuous entertainment and interactive activities for children of all ages, all day."
This year's Festival will feature five stages with a range of musical styles performed, from Middle Eastern to Hungarian folk, more than 100 artists and arts group, and even a selection of food from around the world.
