EVENTS: 'Tis the Season at Bookmans!

        BY: BOOKMANS

See what special events your favorite Bookmans location has "in-store" for the holidays! From cookie decorating to craft projects, The Polar Express to Santa, December is buzzing with activites for the young and young at heart.

Keep up with Bookmans events on MySpace and Facebook!

        SPECIAL HOLIDAY HOURS: Our Stores will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, closed Christmas Day, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on New Year's Eve, and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on New Year's Day.

BOOKMANS FLAGSTAFF will feature the artwork of our own employees in the Café this month, and performances from favorite musicians such as Chuck Cheesman, the Porchlights, and Tony Norris & Bill Burke. (Check out the events calendar for the complete schedule.)

BOOKMANS SPEEDWAY will feature two special Christmas trees this December: a Memory Tree, which customers and employees are encouraged to decorate with ornaments for loved ones they can't be with during this holiday season, and a Giving Tree, part of a charity drive that will benefit the Shyann Kindness Project. The Giving Tree is decorated with ornaments, each representing a child in need of a gift. Customers choose an ornament/child, purchase a gift for that child - usually a book - and give it to the cashier. Bookmans will then deliver the gifts to the Shyann Kindness Project.
