Summer Kids Events 2014

Bookmans Flagstaff
Bookmans Flagstaff celebrated the 4th of July (early)! Cute crafts included making American flags using popsicle sticks. The fun didn’t stop there. Flagstaff families participated in the 18th annual 4th of July parade and helped decorate a custom banner. Parents and kids got together and painted their hands to create firework art. The hand-painted banner will be featured at the 2014 4th of July parade. Take a look at the Flickr page for more of the fun.

Bookmans Mesa
Magic, anyone? Families in Mesa had a great time last week with a local magician. Jolly Roger presented an exciting and hilarious show of magic, illusions and puppets. Check out all the great photos on our Flickr page.

Bookmans Phoenix
It’s never too early to be healthy and active! Bookmans Phoenix enjoyed storytime and yoga with the excellent Mr. Eden of Phoenix Public Library. Kids and parents practiced poses, listened to music and heard fun stories that promoted peace, well-being and happiness. See all the Zen moments on our Flickr page.

Bookmans Speedway, Grant and Ina
Bookmans loves pets so much that families got to spend an entire day celebrating the joy that animals bring into our lives! Last week, Summer Kids’ Events started with story time about favorite furry friends. After story time, kids got creative and made puppets of their favorite pets. There were many cat and dog puppets, but there were some unique ones as well including snakes, fish and even a unicorn. For all of the cool photos, visit our Flickr page!
