This Saturday, July 3rd, Bookmans will be pedaling our “We Will Return” homemade bike float through the streets of Flagstaff. The parade starts at 9am sharp in downtown, and it's going to be great! Bookmans will be giving away “We Will Return” tee-shirts, temporary tattoos, and Smarties candy to the crowd. We'll have five brave cyclists pushing our bat-book-cave up and down the hills, and we're going to need all the team spirit we can get to make it up the final hill. When a couple of our Bookmans employees were asked what they like about Independence Day, answers included “unalienable rights” “free speech” and “free candy.”

There are lots of great things to do in Flagstaff this weekend, including Art Walk Friday night, the 4th of July parade Saturday morning, and horse races at Fort Tuthill. If you are frying down in the valley, you might want to come up and enjoy highs of eighty degrees and lots of outdoor festivities! We won't be buying and selling this weekend due to the 4th parade, but you can catch us back out at the Chamber of Commerce parking lot next Saturday, July 10th.
