Bookmans News
Yesterday, the Capitol Christmas tree arrived in Washington D.C. and was presented to Congress. For the first time ever, Arizona was selected to provide the Capitol with an eighty-five foot tall blue spruce, harvested from the White Mountains. Arizona also provided another first. The tree made it's way across the country in the greenest way possible, using bio diesel fuel. Bookmans was proud to be part of this holiday tradition every step of the way. We provided the organizers with a hybrid car to transport their staff behind the tree. The caravan made stops throughout the United States, spreading holiday cheer and the message of living green.
We are thrilled that the giant tree and the incredible staff transporting it, made it safely to our nation's capital and we're proud to take part in delivering this green gift from our Grand Canyon state. Our participation in the transportation of the tree was featured on Fox 11 news. If you would like to see the video, click here!
