Johnson, School of Life Sciences, Arizona State University, an ecologist at ASU that works on ants in both North and South America, for our October Science cafe: "Ecology & 'Them!' Ants Outnumber Us One Million to One." So what is a Science Cafe? Science cafés are live—and lively—events that take place in casual settings such as pubs and coffeehouses, are open to everyone, and feature an engaging conversation with a scientist about a particular topic. Learn something new, ask questions, and meet new people! Bring a team to compete for bragging rights with the Science Pub Quiz!
