Please join us and Dr. Robert A. Johnson, School of Life Sciences, Arizona State University, an ecologist at ASU that works on ants in both North and South America, for our October Science cafe: "Ecology & 'Them!' Ants Outnumber Us One Million to One." More on Dr. Johnson here: http://sols.asu.edu/people/faculty/rjohnson.php In partnership with Arizona SciTech Festival & Bookman's Entertainment Exchange, Mesa, Desert Rivers Audubon hosts monthly Science Cafes on the first Tuesday of the month. So what is a Science Cafe? Science cafés are live—and lively—events that take place in casual settings such as pubs and coffeehouses, are open to everyone, and feature an engaging conversation with a scientist about a particular topic. Learn something new, ask questions, and meet new people! Bring a team to compete for bragging rights with the Science Pub Quiz!
