Bookmans News

The leaves are changing colors, the weather is cooling down, but the Bookmans Tucson Treasure Hunt is still in full swing. This September we're giving you the chance collect treasure by dishing up a prize package worth $40 but as always there is work involved. Get ready to crank those gears but be aware that only an adventurous attitude and local know-how will land you this grand treasure.

Supporting local businesses strengthens our local economy and a strong economy means a stronger community. As part of our commitment to local businesses and the community, Bookmans Entertainment Exchange is a member of Local First Arizona. Their ShiftAZ campaign encouraging shopping at local businesses has inspired us to use our noggins, crank up our creativity and find a fun way to support other companies while bringing you added value via our Bookmans Treasure Hunt: The Search for Local Business Booty in Tucson.

All aboard me mateys because we have set sail for adventure and prizes that even a scallywag wouldn't hawk. You won't be using the stars or a map to find your way to the hidden treasure; you'll use the clues from @BookmansTucson via Twitter. This month's treasure trove consists of a B.O.B coupon, a pair of passes to the Tucson Classics Car Show and a pair of passes to The Loft Cinema. We have hidden this booty at an undisclosed location. There is a limit of one prize package per group and only five to be discovered. The three clues will be twittered on Tuesday, September 25 and you will have until Friday, September 28 to use your wits and locate the hidden treasure.

Put down your shovel because there'll be no digging. Remember the secret password "I love Bookmans" or you'll never retrieve your local business booty. Don't walk the plank if you missed this hunt or didn't have your wits about you because we'll have another one next month. Not in Tucson? Check out what's going on in Phoenix/Mesa and Flagstaff (usually, but not always, announced here on Mondays).
