We had a howling good time at our first Beach Blanket Bow Wow party at Bookmans Mesa. The party was created to entice families to come hang out, celebrate our love of animals and have lots of dogs in one place! We're not above bribery. We love pets of all shapes and sizes and this was just an excuse to get as many furry friends in one place for us to spoil them. With free caninine caricatures, Pupcakes and other treats from Kiki's Cupcake Service and pet-related raffles there was plenty to do today. Our friends at the Arizona Beagle Rescue were fabulous co-hosts as they brought along their adoptable beagle pals in hopes to find everyone a new home. The Beagles were friendly, loving and adorable in their Hawaiian shirts and other beach wear.

We made new friends with the beagles and all of the fun families that brought their four-legged friends to the party. Some were shy, others were vocal and a lot were excited. One thing they all have in common is that they are well-loved by their families and they love hanging out at Bookmans.

Molly was a personal favorite of mine. She is 8-years young and loves every person and animal she comes across. Unfortunately Molly's miltary family had to relocate. Molly is blind, but that did not stop her from sniffing around the store, making new friends and finding where the Pupcakes were hidden. She is well trained and her Foster Mommy thinks she is one of the easiest beagles she has had to care for. We hope that by inviting everyone out to celebrate their families' love of dogs, that a few of these amazing Beagles will find great new forever homes.
