Bookmans News

It's June. At Bookmans that means music, oh yeah! The Dusty Buskers are a trio of local music makers making, as a fan put it, "a crowd-pleasin', string-teasin', nipple-squeezin' good time." Old-timey/Celtic Revival and Nontraditional Traditional Music, the Dusty Buskers are made of Uncle Fiddlin' Phoenix (vocals, fiddle, moustache), Dusty Squirrelfisher (vocals, harmonica, guitar, mandolin, sideburns) and Reverend Rudy Cortese (banjo, lightwork). They formed in 2006 and have been going strong ever since. They will grace Bookmans Speedway with their sweet sounds once again at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 16.

Check out their website and Facebook page to hear some of their tunes and to learn more about these great local musicians. See you at the show! PeaceLove
