Bookmans News

In partnership with the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL), Bookmans features Sharon, who seeks her forever home. The AAWL is Arizona's oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter. AAWL and SPCA rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes more than 2,500 dogs and cats who are abandoned or surrendered by their owners. Today we introduce you to Sharon.

"Hi my name is Sharon. I was turned into the Arizona Animal Welfare League Shelter with my pal Ozzy, because our owner moved away. Ozzy was quickly adopted, but close to two years later I am still waiting in the shelter for my forever home. I am eight years old, and get along well with others. Since I am older I would enjoy a quiet home where I can become comfortable in my new surroundings. I am shy and quiet, but I love to get pets and attention from my human friends. I do have allergies, so I must be on a special diet of Sweet Potato and Herring, which my human care takers tell me they can get at the pet store. If I sound like a good fit for your family please come and visit me at the Arizona Animal Welfare Pet Match Adoption Center.
