Bookmans News
Bookmans has advocated for the freedom to read, write and listen to whatever you're into for over 36 years. To emphasize this core value we dedicate a whole month each year to our Fight Censorship campaign. Citing iconic court cases, altered art and loss of individuality have been cornerstones of campaigns, but it's the stories that inspire us to forge ahead in our fight for the right of freedom of speech.
We don't want to live in a world where vanilla is the only flavor or we can't enjoy the unedited beauty of Michelangelo's David. Whether it's the title of the first Harry Potter book or the raw dance moves of Elvis Presley in the 1950s, we want everyone to have the opportunity to hear and be heard. Take a look at some of our previous campaigns and see which one speaks to you (Jesse Eisenberg wore our Assassination of an Idea T-shirt exceptionally well).
