Bookmans News
Beginning next week, all of our markets will be hosting free summer kids events, and Bookmans in Flagstaff is no exception. The Flagstaff kids' events will be held every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Orpheum Theater downtown on Aspen Street, and we have a lots of great stuff planned, including Chuck Cheesman's famous kids' show, lots of arts and crafts, and educational programs like the worm box program from Willow Bend and the Raptor Show from the Arboretum! There will also be snacks, drinks, music and great prizes. See the entire schedule below.

June 2nd – Tony Norris Old-Time Kids’ Music Show and Wild West Entertainment
Music! Balloon Sculpting! Come join us for this kid-centric hoedown, including free snacks, drinks and give-aways.
June 9th – Beloved Raquel Rotnes Leads Kids Arts and Crafts
Creations will have a garden theme. All supplies provided.
June 16th – Handmade at Bookmans T-Shirt Decorating
Decorate your very own “Handmade at Bookmans” t-shirt and create a piece of wearable art! Supplies are limited, so first come, first served.
June 23rd – Michael Steele Magic Show and YoYo Workshop
Abracadabra! Experience the illusions and mystery of this entertaining magician, who will also teach you how to use the yoyo! Free yoyos provided.
June 30th – Chuck Cheesman’s famous “Dancing With No Shoes On” kids’ music show
This favorite local musician, of Bookmans MIC program, will be performing his young kids’ interactive musical show.
July 7th – The Raptor Show from the Flagstaff Arboretum
The Arb will have two experts teaching kids about the birds and their habitats, and there will even be two real live raptors present!
July 14th – Bookmans Canvas Bag Decorating
Decorate your very own Bookmans reusable canvas bag. You’ll want to take it everywhere! Supplies are limited, so first come, first served.
July 21st –Willow Bend Environmental Education Center’s “Exploring Earthworms”
Kids will learn more about these amazing animals, how to make a worm box, and the role worms play in composting. Great for all ages.
July 28th – Coconino County Humane Association Presents “How to Care for Your Pets” Program
Will include interaction with puppies and kittens. The kids even get to name one pound puppy and kitten! Give-aways and educational materials provided.
August 4th – Bookmans’ Back to School Party
Join us for this awesome jamboree, including balloon animals, face-painting, magic, snacks & drinks, tote-bag decorating, Chuck Cheesman’s famous kids’ show and more!

Just wanted to ask if you printed the pictures online about the June 9th craft show. My kids have participated in that event. They had a great time and we were told that the pictures would be online thank you so much for your time.
