Get your game face on because Tucson Roller Derby is having a bout of undead propotions from 6 to 10 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Bookmans Event Center. These derby dames are ready for this month's aptly named Monster Smash. These rock star rollers are gonna smash their opponents like potatoes (the good kind with sour cream, cheese and chives, but that's not the point). Tickets to this ghoulishly grand event are $11.50 and available at any Bookmans location. The babelicious bout is guaranteed to be full of elbow strikes, dirty looks and bare knuckle brawling, but as always these bouts are family friendly.

Season Nine is in full swing and this monster mash up starts with Tucson VICE Squad vs. The Whisky Row-llers from Northern Arizona and the Tucson Cooper Queens vs. the Arizona Surly Gurlies. These ladies won't disappoint in their fight for first place and this full action brawl will also benefit the Tucson Screamer's Slaughterhouse. Get off your butt (before they kick it) and support this local organization, because they support others like a well made brassiere. Besides, who doesn't like to see these sizzling superheroes taking charge?
