In case you buried your head too deeply in the compost heap, we remind you that GreenFest 2011 takes place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Saturday at Tucson Village Farms. We're gonna have fun out with the sun out, using the sun to power live music, some vendors and a giant rooster -- you will just have to see it. There will be all sorts of family friendly free fun (try saying that five times fast), giveaways, eco-conscious food, a recycled art exhibit, an electric transportation show and oodles more. You'll be sorry if you miss it. Remember your sunscreen and a hat or you'll be sorry (and blisteringly red). Check out this list of the local green initiative-taking businesses that Tucson has to offer.
