Nothing like a decent showing of community generosity to liven your holiday spirits, and the Community Food Bank Donation Drive at Bookmans Grant this past Saturday provided plenty of that! Lots of shoppers took advantage of the 20% off coupon and generously donated food and cash to the Community Food Bank.

Jack Parris and his dedicated volunteers were on hand to take donations and help spread the good word about the Community Food Bank's work in our community. They are certainly feeling the pinch of lowered funding and higher demand in this economy, and Bookmans was more than happy to lend a hand to help. There was 230 pounds of food donated and $244 was received. Thank you Tucson for helping make this Donation Drive a success and don't forget that you can always donate non-perishable food items to the Community Food Bank boxes at our Grant and Speedway locations!
