This week we celebrated our love of animals, dinosaurs and movies. With a variety of entertainment including a puppet show and make and take crafts each store delivered another week of free, unforgettable fun. School starts soon and we will miss the friends we have made every week. Not to worry though. Each store continues to host a variety of family-friendly events all year around.

Bookmans Speedway:

The bigger the mess, the more fun we had! What a crafty Summer Kids Event! Here at Bookmans Speedway we watched a movie of short animated films, ate snacks and made puppets out of paper bags -- all at the same time. At the end of the event the mess that was made was in its own right an amazing piece of art! The creativity and teamwork of all involved made it possible for every one to participate and have an awesome time. Bookmans has the best customers! Thanks for coming out and have a great day. PeaceLove

Bookmans Mesa:

The staff from the Arizona Museum of Natural History know how to entertain and show us a good time! Not only did they bring The Three Little Dino's and The Big Bad T-Rex puppet show, they brought out fossils for us to learn about and touch. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing dinosaur knowledge and making the museum a hip place to learn. Find pictures on our Flickr page.

Bookmans Phoenix:

We celebrated our love of animals with an all-ages gardening craft. Everyone received one small terracotta pot and had the choice of making a lion, tiger, elephant or monkey. The animals were formed with pre-cut foam shapes and glued together with our trusty friends, glue dots. Once each animal pot was completed, we scooped in a few mounds of potting soil followed by a handful of mystery wildflower seeds. We can't wait to see those gorgeous buds sprout from their ferocious pots. You can view photos on our Flickr page.
