It's time to start figuring out where you put your backpack, check if your markers are dried out and hope you'll be in the same class as your best friend -- back to school time! We celebrated with special back-to-school parties at two of our Tucson locations that involved our favorite Silly Tassie in the world.
Bookmans Ina
School was in session for our Summer Kids Event -- Clown School, that is! Silly Tassie made our Back-to-School party a super silly, educational time. She painted our faces like clowns and then took the kids through clown academy, where they became certified silly clowns. Silly Tassie made the kids balloon animals because no clown is complete without a balloon animal. All Kids Club members received a free I Love Bookmans T-shirt that they got to decorate with markers and had delicious Eegees to help us cool off. It was a party to remember. Check out our Flickr page to see how much fun we had.

Bookmans Speedway
RRRrrrr Matey! It was a pirate-themed event at Bookmans Speedway for our Back-to-School Party. Pirate Tassie read us a story and made us walk the plank and then we hunted for treasure. Apples, bananas and oranges were on the menu as the kids get ready to start school along with juice boxes, shirt decorating, balloons and treats. You can view photos from this awesome party on our Flickr page.

Thank you to the hundreds of families who helped us celebrate summer and attended our events weekly. We are honored to share these special moments with you and cry a little as we see you progress from grade to grade. We know Bookmans kids well, and can't wait to see some of the amazing ways you are going to nourish that noggin this school year!
The fun doesn't have to be over. Every Bookmans hosts free, family-friendly events every single month so make sure and pick up an event calendar from your cashier or visit our events page.
