Bookmans News

Bookmans Speedway summons the undead for our second annual Zombie Fair. Honoring the monstrous villains will be The Zombie Walk, The Slaughter House and local comic book artists. Skulk into Bookmans for a ghoulish all-ages (but not for the faint of heart) event from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 6.

Zombie enthusiasts will enjoy:

• Free zombie makeovers (while supplies last) from the Zombie Walk.
• Free Bookmans photo booth.
• Free take away goodie (while supplies last).
• Free raffle of zombie-related goodies.
• Meet and greet the local comic book artists Eric Schock, Arnie Burmudez, Matthew "Zip" Howard and Hannah Nance Partlow. Artists will sign and sell their work as well as creating zombie portrait drawings.
• Watch the original 1968 classic Night of the Living Dead.
• Registration for The Zombie Walk and ticket sales for The Slaughter House.

The Zombie Fair precedes other creepy events at Bookmans this month. Lovers of All Things Spooky can fix their zombie gaze on Bookmans' free feature in the Bookmans Grant Park[ing Lot] with Young Frankenstein on Saturday, October 27. Additionally can creep around To Bookmans Ina for a Halloween Party and Magic Show on Saturday, October 27.
