Bookmans is so excited to share our jam-packed schedule of upcoming October events with you, Arizona! From Dungeons & Dragons to haunted Halloween fun to incredible Studio Nights, there is an event at Bookmans that is made just for you. It’s time to dive into the Frightful Fall fun with Bookmans!

Tucson

Bookmans East, Midtown, and Northwest teams are having some fall fun with the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) on Oct 10th, 11th, and 12th! These artists are bringing a Pixel Art event to all our Tucson stores during the fall school break. 
Bookmans’ Studio Nights have been full each month. If you haven’t joined before, make October the month you explore your artistic side! Bookmans Northwest store is hosting Studio Nights: Paint Edition on October 19th. In the spirit of the season, the East store has an  All Hallows Eve painting theme on October 26th. If you’ve been wanting to express yourself with words, do not miss our Studio Nights: Zine Edition at Bookmans Midtown.
Dungeons and Dragons is back in a big way, and both Bookmans Northwest and Bookmans East are hosting introductory Dungeons and Dragons events for adventurers of all ages. More of a Pokemon gamer? Don’t miss East’s Pokemon PileUp,  this time with a Halloween theme.
Bookmans is now an official Cassette Store Day member! Join Bookmans East for National Cassette Store Day and rewind some music history, explore some new release cassette tapes, and enter our raffle to win some kick-ass prizes! Want to keep the music party going? Mark your calendars for Bookmans Midtown’s resident record spinner DJ Circuitous Vibes taking over the sound of Bookmans for our Ambient Salon Showcase. If you’re a record spinner yourself, come shake your tail feathers and BYO vinyl to spin for the Vinyl Preservation Society event during Tucson’s Modernism Week.

Bookmans Midtown is ramping up the Halloween excitement on October 19th with Kids’ Movie and Craft Night: Pixar’s Coco.  Kids will not want to miss the Haunted Basement Tour at Midtown too! East is having a Frightful Fall Halloween Party on the 20th followed by Northwest’s Family Movie and Craft Night: Hotel Transylvania on October 27th. If you’re looking for the place to show off your costumes and get in the spirit of the season, don’t miss Northwest’s Halloween Hullaba-BOO! There’s something for every member of the family including a costume contest, a tarot card reader, and Halloween bag decorating.
Why adopt a pet in need this October? Because the 
Meet Your New Best Friend Adoption Day event at Bookmans East will have a pet costume contest! Bring your pet in a costume during the event and you’ll be entered to win a gift certificate!

Phoenix and Mesa

During fall school break, Bookmans Mesa is keeping kids entertained with Harvest Happenings craft events featuring Recycled Paper Scarecrows, Lego Harvest Horrors, Paint a Pumpkin, and more. There are two authors making an appearance at Bookmans Phoenix in October! Mark your calendars for book signings with Derek Barton and Bev Galligan. If you’re of the musical persuasion, both the Mesa and Phoenix stores are having their monthly fun and rockin’ ukulele events.
Both Bookmans’ Mesa and Phoenix stores are celebrating Dia de los Muertos with Studio Nights on October 11th and October 12th.  Looking for more adult fun at Bookmans Phoenix? If you’re a horror movie fan, sign up for the Night of the Living Trivia – you could win something spooky! Are board games more your style? Bookmans Mesa’s Tabletop Game Night hosted by Arizona Game Fair.

Little ones have so much fun in store this October. The East Valley Children’s Theatre presents On the Spot Improv at Bookmans Mesa. Bookmans Phoenix wouldn’t dare miss out on hosting a Spooktacular Halloween Fun event. Be sure to visit with the Bookmans Mesa crew at the annual Dia de los Muertos Festival at the Mesa Arts Center on October 27th and 28th too. Flagstaff

Creative Spirits is heading to Bookmans Flagstaff’s Studio Nights for an instructional painting event on October 25th. Teens, Kikori Con crew will be at Bookmans Flag for a Super Smash Bros. tournament on October 13th. If you have kids, bring them to the Trick or Treat Monster Meet for a scary good time. Bookmans Flag will be on hand at the annual Pumpkin Walk at the Flagstaff Arboretum, and they can’t wait to see everyone getting into the spirit of the season!
