Since 1977, the Crisis Nursery has been providing protection and support to abused, neglected and homeless children all over the valley. It is the oldest center of its kind in Phoenix and since its doors opened it has helped over 16,000 children and their families. The Nursery provides hope and opportunity to those who may otherwise not have had any. We all want Arizona’s children to succeed and live happier and healthier lives, which is why Bookmans is giving back to the Crisis Nursery for the holidays and we are asking for everyone to join us.

On November 30th, an eighty-five foot tall blue spruce, harvested from the White Mountains of Arizona, will arrive in Washington, D.C. This is the first time Arizona has ever given the annual Christmas tree to the U.S. Capitol, and our state is delivering not only a tree taller than a seven-story building, but is including nearly 10,000 handmade ornaments and eighty companion trees that will be placed in offices throughout the Capitol complex.
