**CONTEST CLOSED**Church of Beethoven-Tucson is the Old Pueblo’s only chamber music and spoken word concert series. We suggest you secure your best plus one as the historic Club Congress plays host to the Church of Beethoven at 7 p.m. on May 18. We so want you to have the “music for friends” experience of the Church of Beethoven, that we grabbed free passes for two lucky readers.

Church of Beethoven

Church of Beethoven-Tucson is modeled after the late Felix Wurman’s Church of Beethoven and brought to Tucson by local bassoonist and chamber musician, Cassandra Bendickson. Each concert experience comes from local Tucson artists. The speaker/poet for this installment is Blinking Ephemeral Valentine author Joni Wallace. Violinist Samantha Bounkeua and cellist Michael Simmons provide the music.

You don’t have to own a palace or even be “of the manner born” to attend this intimate affair. To enter to win one of the two pairs of passes to see Church of Beethoven at Club Congress, use the comment section to tell us your favorite piece of classical music. Comments are moderated, so please don’t resubmit them without giving us time to post. We will select two winners using random.org. The winner will be notified by e-mail sometime on Wednesday or possibly even Thursday. Be sure to check your e-mail inbox for a message from us since we’ll need your contact information for Will Call.**CONTEST CLOSED**

If you don’t win the passes, you can still purchase tickets for this all ages concert. Tickets are $10 and available at the door or online. Additional information about the performance and Church of Beethoven Tucson may be found at www.churchofbeethoven-tucson.org.
