I ask you to please stop having the Drag Queen story hour event. it is very confusing to young children. This is a topic that should be discussed with them by parents at home when they are mature enough to handle the content. Science shows young children are confused and even traumatized by this type of event. You are doing a disservice to the community, when usually you do such wonderful things for the community. Do not let a small minority group sway you their way – do what is good for the masses. I have been a frequent and happy customer but I may have to stop, and alert others, if you persist in this. Please – is is for the sake of the children.

Hello Ruth! Given that Drag Queen Story Hour is one of our most popular events, we will not be removing it from our events lists. If you believe the event to be harmful to your children, we invite you to skip it and opt for our child-friendly events like craft times, storytimes, and video game tournaments. Bookmans serves the community as a whole, and that includes people who have different opinions than your own. We appreciate your business and hope that you will continue to join us as a customer and for our children’s events you feel comfortable attending.

This is absolutely disgusting that your company puts sexual perverse ideology in front of children’s well being. Your abuse of children will not go unnoticed.

Hello Bill! You are welcome to your own beliefs and feelings about our events. They will not, however, affect our decision to host events we feel benefit the community and encourage education.
