Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star!

On July 20th, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first humans to step foot on the moon. 50 years later, a lot has changed, but we are still celebrating this amazing feat that opened the doors of possibility for generations to come. We have invited the University of Arizona’s Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium to join us for a morning of space themed fun. Join Bookmans East on July 20th for our Starrytime & Music Hour, Singing songs about space, out of this world dancing, reading all about the moon, and a galactic craft!

All July long, the University of Arizona has many exciting events for all ages from art exhibits to a fulldome planetarium show all about the Apollo missions!

Bookmans East has Storytime & Music Hour every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Children of all ages are welcome to join the fun! Learn all the classic childhood songs, read, and wrap it up with a new craft each week. This exciting interactive event is fast-paced enough to keep all the little ones engaged all while learning and exploring in a safe, enthusiastic environment. The event is weekly and always free.
