Project: Educate
We know you, as an educator, spend your own money on class materials. Bookmans is proud to support education in our community, so we offer you a 20% discount on all of your purchases when you sign up for Project: Educate. Spend some on yourself and take 20% off all your purchases...not just classroom material, but anything and everything in our stores. It's just our way of saying thanks for everything that you do.
We do require proof that you're a currently employed educator to sign up for Project: Educate. Just bring your confirmation e-mail, a valid ID and your proof to your nearest Bookmans location after signing up.

But Wait, There's More!
Project: Educate is more than just a discount. Once you're a Project: Educate member, you'll receive information via our e-newsletter* on our annual School Challenge, store tours for your classes, Educator Appreciation Day and our "Read 10" program. Check out our video for more information:
* Bookmans values your time and will not spam you with unwanted communications, however our database does not currently allow us to maintain Project: Educate memberships without a subscription to our e-newsletter. We will do our best to honor your wishes but ask for patience as we innovate. Meanwhile, take comfort that Bookmans does not share any of the data that you provide to us with any other agency or group.

Read 10
Encourage your classroom to read with a little help from Bookmans. For every 10 books each of your students read, we'll reward them. What's the catch? Students have to write a short report. They can even include drawings! We trust you to do the heavy lifting on this one because you know your students' capabilities. Contact the community relations representative in your city to tell them how many of your students read and reported on ten books and we will send you a gift certificate for each of them. If one report stands out, send it to us for publication on our website! This is a great activity for the whole class!
