Oh my gosh, its finally here… INDEPENDENT BOOKSTORE DAY!!! We would not be successful without all of our wonderful customers! So, please, come celebrate with us. There will be trivia for prizes throughout the day for all you smart cookies. If you’re planning to cosplay at Fan Fusion this year, we’ll have Cosplay Consultants in store at 11am to help guide you on your costuming journey. As this is National Poetry Month, compose your own “Black-Out Poetry”. Most creative wins a prize! If you feel like you need to nurture the relationship you have with your vinyl collection, we will have a representative from Stinkweeds in at 5pm to be your therapist. We’ll have a free craft or 2 so you have souvenirs from this magical day. Martin Scorsese* will stop by for photo ops (again, the dog, not the director).

Speaking of pets, we are hosting several rescues in store throughout the day, hopefully finding you a new best friend.

Dogz, Tailz, & Wagz Rescue will have doggos looking for loving homes from 10-12:30pm

Arizona Guinea Pig Rescue will be looking to place some pets from 12:30-2:45pm

Better Chance Rescue has puppies that want to meet you from 4:30-9pm

Additionally, we will have a Pet Food Drive to try to assist some of these rescues. Any pet food donation will get you an extra entry into our Bookmans Swag giveaway!
