J.M. Barrie’s story about a boy who wouldn’t grow up has delighted children for generations. From the iconic Disney animated film, to the stage musical, to movie adaptations by the dozen, Peter Pan is clearly one of the most popular children’s books of all time. 

Come be part of the magic as Arizona Curriculum Theater narrates excerpts from the story as you bring it to life. 

We’ll discuss literary devices found in Peter Pan, historical to modern use of language including racial terms, and learn about the author’s life and influence on literature.

Megan Holcomb is a Phoenix-based actor who has worked with theaters throughout the Valley. She first worked with Arizona Curriculum Theater as the performer of The Masque of the Red Death during Poefest. Other favorite roles include Jen in The Cake with Stray Cat Theatre, Andy in The Burn with BLK BOX PHX, and the titular role in Sylvia with Compass Players.
