Bookmans is bringing you the very best in gaming this April! For one night only, Bookmans Phoenix and 19North will be hosting an outdoor Bookmans Game Tavern event – and you’re invited!

Join Bookmans, 98 KUPD’s Fitz Madrid, Dungeon Master Nick Grotto, and Scale & Feather Meadery for a fun, free night of gaming! We’ve got tabletop and RPG games, video games (on a huge blow-up TV!), board games that you’ve always wanted to try, Magic: The Gathering gameplay, and THREE Dungeons tents for players of all skill levels!

This evening of fun and festivities is all in support of 19North Community Alliance, so don’t be afraid to buy some mead and beer to support their efforts to bring the Phoenix community and local businesses closer together!

We are pulling out all the stops to show our community how much we love you all, and we could not do it without help from some very special community partners! Check out who you will be hanging with when you stop by the Bookmans Game Tavern on April 2 from 6-10 PM!

Fitz Madrid, Dungeon Master and DJ at 98 KUPD, will be heading up the first of three Dungeons & Dragons tents.

As the most advanced DM on hand, Fitz’s tent will feature a high-level game that is only open to a select few players who will be playing an entire, in-depth game. Want to watch the adventure play out? We’ll be streaming the game live on a TV so you can check out the action!

Nick Grotto, a seasoned Dungeon Master who keeps Bookmans’ Tucson stores playing all types of D&D encounters.

He’s running the one-shot tent, giving everyone an opportunity to experience D&D gaming with a short encounter. Pre-selected character sheets will be on-hand so you can jump straight into the action and try your hand at multiple, quick games!

Scale & Feather Meadery is Phoenix’s premier mead hall! They will be co-hosting the Beer and Mead Garden! Check out their incredible selection of meads that are the perfect companion to the games we’ll be playing.

Whether you want to get into the game with Dungeons & Dragons, want to get your video game on with your friends, bust out your Magic cards for a game or two, or just want to try your hand at some seriously fun board games that everyone is talking about, you won’t want to miss a minute of the fun!
