Join Bookmans this summer for our FREE Summer Kids Events hosted by your favorite community partners and friends! Every Wednesday starting at 1pm and lasting about an hour, these events are sure to be engaging, educational and of course FUN!

June 3rd: Jungle Jill – Creepy Crawlies
Jungle Jill brings an up close and interactive wildlife experience featuring some of nature’s most fascinating (and sometimes misunderstood!) creatures. Kids will meet spiders, snakes, insects and other “creepy crawlies” while learning fun facts about their habitats and behaviors in a safe, engaging environment.

June 10th: Jolly Roger
Prepare to be amazed and amused with Jolly Roger’s high energy magic show! Packed with laughs, audience participation and mind-blowing tricks, this performance is always a family favorite and guarantees plenty of giggles.

June 17th: Mad Science – Up, Up & Away
Experience the wonders of air and flight through hands on, interactive experiments. Kids will discover the science behind lift, pressure and propulsion in a way that’s both educational and wildly entertaining.

June 24th: Great AZ Puppet Theater – Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Enjoy a charming live puppet performance of the classic tale Goldilocks and the Three Bears. This delightful retelling features beautifully crafted puppets, playful storytelling and plenty of laughs for young audiences.

July 1st: Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary – Around the World
Discover incredible reptiles from across the globe and learn about their unique habitats, adaptations and the important roles they play in their ecosystems.

July 8th: Mad Science – Dry Ice & Sounds Like Science
A thrilling combination of bubbling dry ice experiments and sound based science fun! This high energy program is packed with exciting demonstrations that will wow kids and adults alike.

July 15th: Phoenix Zoo – Animal Kingdom
Explore the wonders of the animal kingdom with fascinating live animal guests. Attendees will learn about wildlife conservation and get an up close look at some amazing creatures.

July 22nd: Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary – Endangered Species
Learn about endangered reptiles, the challenges they face in the wild and how conservation efforts help protect these incredible species for future generations.
