Happy first day of summer! Now is the time to stretch your green thumbs and give back to Mother Nature. Join our “clay seed bomb” crafting event located directly behind Bookmans Flagstaff.

What are “clay seed bombs” you ask? GREAT QUESTION! We’ll be taking balls of clay and fill the centers with seeds. Then we’ll roll the balls in gardening soil until it is fully covered. Take home your seed filled claymation and place it on top of any empty gardening space. The clay is used to protect the seeds until enough rain has fallen to slowly break down the clay until the seeds are released and sprout into the soil.

This fun and educational event will be Tuesday, June 21st starting at 10am. We ask that those participating please park in the front of the store then walk around towards the back. There will be signs indicating the right direction.

All supplies will be provided, simply bring yourself and a pair of green thumbs! See you guys the first day of summer.
