This week, we’re joined by Arina Boyko.
«In my relationship to the world there remains something of my peasant grandparents and my worker parents», says French writer and 2022 Nobel Prize Winner Annie Ernaux, whose writing is known for being “autosociobiographical”. Trough the discussion and writing prompts we are going to explore how family, background and class imprints in our writing. What would happen if we place the socio-economic notion of class in the center of our practice?
Arina Boyko (she/her) is a writer and independent publisher from Chekhov, Russia. She is also a second-year Creative Writing MFA student at NAU, who works on an essay collection.
