Music is in the air this Spring at the Tucson Folk Festival on March 31st-April 2nd in downtown Tucson and Bookmans will be rocking out in the Kid’s Zone with our portable musical instrument petting zoo! Ever wanted to strum a guitar, beat on a hand drum or even play the fiddle just like Lindsey Sterling? Stop by the Bookmans booth and give tons of different instruments a try.
About Tucson Folk Festival
The Tucson Folk Festival is one of the longest-running folk music festivals in the country and has grown to be Arizona’s largest free to the public music festival. The annual three-day event celebrates American Folk Music traditions and all the wonderful variations, from Bluegrass to Blues, and Mariachi to Zydeco! This family-friendly festival is held in some of the most historic sections of Downtown Tucson. Featuring multiple stages of acoustic music and hundreds of performers, the festival annually entertains well over 13,000 fans coming from all over Arizona and tuning in online from across the nation. This two-day event also features a wide variety of food and craft vendors, a beer garden, interactive music workshops, a Family Show, the Roger Mikulas Young Artist Showcase for performers under 18, a Ballad Tree for songwriters, Elise Grecco Marketplace for food and craft vendors, and the Stefan George Songwriting Competition. Over 250 volunteers contribute annually to the success of this festival.

Bookmans is excited to be a part of the annual four day long Agave Heritage Festival this April 27th-30th! Enjoy a full schedule of events, food, and drinks in the heart of downtown Tucson and get to know a little more about what makes this ol’ town so special.
The Agave Heritage Festival is a four-day celebration in Tucson, AZ, the destination for “all things agave”. Created to explore the cultural, sustainable, and commercial significance of the agave plant and borderland culture, the festival features an impressive list of events with a strong focus on sustainability. Events include seminars, agave pit roasting, agave spirit tastings and world class culinary events conducted by industry leaders, culinary leaders and spirits professionals.
