Vision Boards can be made any way you’d like! There are no rules for picturing joy and happiness in your life.

We’ll talk about goals, manifesting, and making our world all that we would have it be. . . . . . then get to work on our creating the vision boards to make it all come to life.

We’ll provide poster board, glue, scissors and supplies – but feel free to bring anything else you’d like – your own magazines, construction paper, or stickers. Or bring your laptop/tablet and create your board digitally!

Join us on the 3rd Saturday of the month at Bookmans Mesa for a day celebrating the ukulele! Our guest instructor Maria can’t wait to help you learn to jam on these incredibly accessible instruments. We will learn simple chords and how to play two or three songs. This beautiful instrument was brought from Portugal to Hawaii and is recognized all around the world as an island instrument but now we bring it to the Arizona desert.

The event is free and open to the public. All skill levels are welcome. Bring your own ukulele or pick one up here at Bookmans’ Musical Instrument Department for a great price and join in!

July 9 Phoenix Mermaid Join us for mermaid story-time along with ocean knowledge shared by our favorite stewards of the sea!

July 16 – Jolly Roger Jolly Roger’s magic show is filled with clever magic, puppets, always lots of laughter and plenty of audience participation!

July 23 Phoenix Zoo presents “Critter Cuisine” What’s on the menu in the wild? In this tale of animal diets, we will explore what different critters like to eat—from crunchy bugs to juicy berries! We will meet live ambassador animals and find out what’s on their real-life menus. Come hungry for learning!

July 30 – Jungle Jill Jungle Jill will bring live animals to you, up close and interactive, for an unforgettable, educational experience!

Doesn’t matter if you’ve never made a Vision Board before or if you’re old pro. It’s all about visualizing your perfect life & making your dreams come true. Make 2026 the best year of your life so far.

Vision Boards can be made any way you’d like! There are no rules for picturing joy and happiness in your life.

We’ll talk about goals, manifesting, and making our world all that we would have it be. . . . . . then get to work on our creating the vision boards to make it all come to life.

We’ll provide poster board, glue, scissors and supplies – but feel free to bring anything else you’d like – your own magazines, construction paper, or stickers. Or bring your laptop/tablet and create your board digitally!

Jungle Jill brings an up close and interactive wildlife experience featuring some of nature’s most fascinating (and sometimes misunderstood!) creatures. Kids will meet spiders, snakes, insects and other “creepy crawlies” while learning fun facts about their habitats and behaviors in a safe, engaging environment.

June 10th: Jolly Roger
Prepare to be amazed and amused with Jolly Roger’s high energy magic show! Packed with laughs, audience participation and mind-blowing tricks, this performance is always a family favorite and guarantees plenty of giggles.

June 17th: Mad Science – Up, Up & Away
Experience the wonders of air and flight through hands on, interactive experiments. Kids will discover the science behind lift, pressure and propulsion in a way that’s both educational and wildly entertaining.

June 24th: Great AZ Puppet Theater – Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Enjoy a charming live puppet performance of the classic tale Goldilocks and the Three Bears. This delightful retelling features beautifully crafted puppets, playful storytelling and plenty of laughs for young audiences.

July 1st: Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary – Around the World
Discover incredible reptiles from across the globe and learn about their unique habitats, adaptations and the important roles they play in their ecosystems.

July 8th: Mad Science – Dry Ice & Sounds Like Science
A thrilling combination of bubbling dry ice experiments and sound based science fun! This high energy program is packed with exciting demonstrations that will wow kids and adults alike.

July 15th: Phoenix Zoo – Animal Kingdom
Explore the wonders of the animal kingdom with fascinating live animal guests. Attendees will learn about wildlife conservation and get an up close look at some amazing creatures.

Learn about endangered reptiles, the challenges they face in the wild and how conservation efforts help protect these incredible species for future generations.

June 18 Mad Science presents “Up, Up, and Away” This spellbinding special event introduces children to the principles of air and pressure.

Join us on the 3rd Saturday of the month at Bookmans Mesa for a day celebrating the ukulele! Our guest instructor Maria can’t wait to help you learn to jam on these incredibly accessible instruments. We will learn simple chords and how to play two or three songs. This beautiful instrument was brought from Portugal to Hawaii and is recognized all around the world as an island instrument but now we bring it to the Arizona desert.

The event is free and open to the public. All skill levels are welcome. Bring your own ukulele or pick one up here at Bookmans’ Musical Instrument Department for a great price and join in!
