Tucson Local Businesses Gather at Bookmans Grant
To celebrate Shop Local, Give Local, we hosted our annual Local Business Fair at Bookmans Grant. This year we were honored to host five truly great locals. With the holiday season upon us there’s no better time to familiarize yourselves with these great local gift options. To help you Shop Local, Give Local, check out these Tucson Local Businesses.
Lotus Massage and Wellness Center
Their motto: Pick something and do it well! Lotus has provided our community with the best touch therapy services since 2007. Administering options outside of massage, they’re also available to help with stress relief, injury rehabilitation and chronic pain. You won’t find a more dedicated office for your well being. What also makes Lotus exceptional is their concern for the environment and continual efforts to remain a socially and environmentally friendly business. There’s no greater gift for your relatives than a relaxing massage and as an additional treat if you mention this post when you schedule your first massage you’ll get 25% off!
Tucson Herb Store
You can’t get more local than this great Tucson business. Providing high quality, hand-made herbal desert product since 2003, the Tucson Herb Store has a new location on 4th Ave. Not only do they offer herbal remedies, they perform acupuncture as well as cranial sacral therapies. If you’re intrigued by the world of herbal healing, sign up for one of their educational classes! Get those out of town relatives a special desert treat from the Tucson Herb Store.
Dragoon Technologies
You’ve just designed that perfect holiday card and as you go to print it… CRASH! Your computer shuts down and won’t power up. Dragoon Technologies is a licensed CompTIA A+ certified PC repair business that offers low cost PC repairs. The fabulous owners will go out of their way to make sure your computers are happy and healthy machines. Dragoon Technologies travels to their clients and will go nearly everywhere in southern Arizona! With free estimates there will never be a need to worry about your computer problems again.
Hermitage Cat Shelter
Imagine only 12 employees dedicating themselves to all the homeless cats in our community. It seems like a daunting task. Don’t fret, the Hermitage Cat Shelter has over 400 volunteers! Since 1965 this amazing no-kill, cage-free facility not only fosters animals but provides assistance for low income families, advice on care for your animals, takes on cats that can no longer be cared for and offers excellent community advocacy for the cats in our community. Founded by Sister Seraphim, a Russian nun, this shelter is our go to for all things cat. If you’re feeling generously inclined to give locally this season or if you know a loved one who needs a four-legged feline friend, check out Hermitage Cat Shelter.
Iora Primary Care
Their first year in Tucson this local primary care facility offers excelling service for those with Medicare. With a determined goal to spend more time with their patients this facility makes themselves accessible by phone, email or text 24 hours a day. Iora offers same and next day services for emergencies and has an on site lab for extra convenience. If your loved one is aged 65 or older and looking for a better care facility, visit the folks at Iora.
We had a great time hosting these locals in our store. There’s no greater feeling than when you’ve connected to your community during the holiday season and all year around. Take the time and get to know these and other local businesses and make sure to shop local for all your holiday needs!
