Paul Feig dusts off the old proton packs with the upcoming third Ghostbusters movie. The movie features a brand new, all-female crew of spook-bustin’ experts. The Ghostbusters team includes actresses Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy and Leslie Jones. With the movie’s release date of July 15, 2016, we’ve seen only a few awesome sneak peek shots. Now have we had an official image of the new four lady Ghostbusters!

How to Prep for the Lady Ghostbusters

Suited up with fearless attitudes they stand inside the always spooky, green-smoke filled hotel. With all the hype for the new movie, it has some people asking the question, “Why do a whole new reboot to a classic?” Opinions range from super stoked to questioning the women’s Ghostbuster-y-ness. For our part, we are ready to give this change a chance.

While the movie is already in post production, we don’t yet know what the plot is. Feig says that this is a complete reboot existing outside the original. With so many cast originals, that will make for some interesting cameo action.

Here’s how we plan to prep for the upcoming, femme-tastic film:
* Re-watch the first two movies. Natch.
* Practice our lip-sync performance of the Ghostbusters soundtrack. We’re going to kill it.
* Pick up some marshmallows or marshmallow fluff to get into the mind of Staypuft. What makes that guy tick?
* Re-watch Bridesmaids (2011), The Heat (2013) and Spy (2015) because McCarthy and Feig worked on those together too. Oh! Wigg also appeared in Bridesmaids, as well as Feig’s first feature, Unaccompanied Minors (2006).
* Travel to New York City to see if we can stumble our way into some ghostbusting activity.

Here’s what we probably won’t do:
* Stream Saturday Night Live. SNL is awesome and we are frequent watchers, but catching all the SNL skits with people who have Ghostbusters connections isn’t realistic. Also, those guys never invite us to their holiday parties.
