Celebrate Your Love of Reading at Bookmans
Finding a good book at Bookmans is simple. Soak in the rows and rows of orange bookshelves, then start your adventure with your favorite genre, author and title. Glance at the titles neighboring your favorite to discover a new book you have never read before. Our displays are gold mines for readers looking to absorb everything they can on a theme. All Bookmans locations celebrate Love of Reading this February as we strive to bring books to life, examine story lines with a medley of book clubs and host events for readers of all ages.
In I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!, Dr. Seuss wrote, “The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” We are such big fans of Dr. Seuss that all six of our stores host Seuss-tastical parties this month. Bookmans Ina, Bookmans Grant and Bookmans Speedway throw Cat in the Hat Parties. Bookmans Phoenix, Bookmans Mesa and Bookmans Flagstaff celebrate with a Seuss-a-bration. We continue to host story time in each of our locations throughout the entire year. Just visit our events calendar to find your favorite.
Have you ever finished reading a great novel and realize you have no one to talk to? We have several books clubs such as our “The Fellowship” Tolkien Book Club in Flagstaff, Young at Heart Book Club in Mesa, “A Novel Idea” Book Club in Phoenix and our Young Adult Book Club at Bookmans Speedway. Never feel alone in literacy again. From author signings to book release events, Bookmans strives to bring your favorite characters to life. And don’t worry if you feel your favorite book has been tarnished by a film adaptation. We’re here for you. Our trade counter is open 7 days a week. Not only do we buy books but we enjoy talking about them too.

Hi…I read constantly. I was taking my paperbacks to a Reader Exchange on Miller here in Scottsdale. One day I went and they were closed..bam..gone. I have quite a few book, close to 75 or so that I would like to exchange. Your store is quitea bit away from me but I would make the trip if you do this type of thing…my books are all romance and/or paranormal. Please let me know if this would be worth the trip. Thanks for your help.

Hi Bobbye, Thanks for reaching out. We do buy, sell and trade books. We can’t make offers over the phone or online. The only way to know if we can take your books would be to have you bring them in. Many factors go into whether or not we can make an offer including what our guests are asking us to carry and what we already have on our shelves. A box of books we can’t take one week, we’d love to see back the next. Seventy five books make up a hefty load. You might start by calling the store closest to you to to learn what they are looking for. If that’s Bookmans Mesa, try them at 480.835.0505.
