Bookmans lives for “Geeking Out” with you about our favorite books, movies, music, video games, characters, events and all things magical. Soon we’ll have a chance to geek out about all of these things together in one ginormous building. The Signature Pop-Culture Event of the Southwest, Phoenix Comicon. Phoenix Comicon invites you to “Discover Your Inner Geek” from June 2-5, 2016, at the Phoenix Convention Center. We are giving away four passes to the Phoenix Comicon Opening Night on Thursday, June 2. Don’t miss this opportunity to preview all the awesomeness!
Phoenix Comicon brings world-class pop-culture programming, panels, events, art contests and autograph signings to the Valley of the Sun. This 4-day event brings Downtown Phoenix to life with unique events and costumed fans. Opening night is your chance to get in on all the action before the massive crowds descend upon Phoenix Convention Center.

All things Harry Potter!
I love anime and can geek out about many series and movies, but The Simpsons is where I really show my geek knowledge!
Have loved Star Trek since I was tiny and watched with my Dad! I need an excuse to use my new Tribble purse, pick me, pick me! 🙂
I geek out over a lot of things, but Harry Potter or Sherlock are my main ones!
I love to geek out with my friends and play some retro games!!! When we play, we try playing ones like Spiderman or Separation Anxiety!!!

If I’m wanting to geek out I will start with reruns of one of the Star Trek tv shows, then a marathon of the movies….then back to the tv shows…lol!!!

It was in a galaxy far far away where I felt the need, the need for speed and therefore said This, this is my BOOM-STICK! Who doesn’t love the escapism of the movies? The magic, the characters and far off lands!
I enjoying geeking out on Star Wars, batman, marvel, Harry Potter, and most video games in general. Also of course, most role playing games.
I love geeking out to Harry Potter. I introduced the series to my son, who claimed & dressed like Harry from 4-8, now I’ve surpassed his geeks on & dress like Hermione every chance I get! Second to that would be Into the Woods…we know every line & you can see us acting/singing it out on the road any given day!
My heart’s desire is a time traveler with a TARDIS. My fiancé understands. He loves the companions. We are well matched in our geekiness.
I have always loved star wars! My brother and I used to sing “star waaaars, episode ooooooneeee!” To the star wars theme! I also used to play legend of Zelda constantly, link was my idol!
My geek out is over skyrim the elder scrolls, the walking dead, and harley Quinn!!

Films in general. Not particular fandom, although I do love a lot of them. I love the art of film, going to the theater, film festivals, movie news. I have IMDB as the 3rd app listed on my phone and my brain is brimming with movie quotes and references. I LOVE FILM!

I Geek Out about Everything & Anything from Sci-Fi,Horror,Western’s,Professional Wrestling,Muscle Car’s,Firearm’s,Hottie’s,Misc./Etc.
I think my first hardcore geek out session occurred when I watched Lord of the Rings for the first time. It was a rented dvd from Blockbuster and I watched it a million times before returning it. This led me to read all of the books, purchase dvd’s, and so on and so forth. Right now, I’m SUPER excited for the new Orphan Black season!!! I have too many things I geek out to…the geeking is strong.
Pretty much all things sci-first and fantasy.
Supernatural and most recently the live long and prosper emojis on my phone to represent star trek! There is so much 🙂
Legend of Zelda! Link to the rescue! One of my favorite parts of PCC last year was all the people walking around with ocarinas, playing songs from the games. Link is definitely my hero.
Star Wars! One of my favorite Christmas traditions is forcing my husband to watch the holiday special every year lol.

All the fandoms coming together in peace 🙂 It’s so much more than comic books and that’s not a bad thing. Love being able to geek out about Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, and meet fellow fans of Batman and Sailor Moon. Decided to watch Arrow because of PCC, because the cast seemed really into their work. Everyone can chill and be themselves. Who wouldn’t geek out over a chance to do that? 🙂
Cosplaying my fave, mad moxxi! …and of course seeing all the others who dress the geek part as well!
Dragonball is where it’s at and I geek out about anything else anime related. Hunter X Hunter has got to be one of my favorites out there, and also some of the new ones like One Punch Man (can’t wait for season 2) and Attack On Titan (STILL waiting for season 2).
My current geek fandom is Game of Thrones show and ASoIaF series. I love anime, scifi and fantasy books, and SCIENCE in general. 🙂
I love the sense of community. It’s amazing to bring almost 100K people and have very little negative experiences between all the people interacting. We all come from so many walks of life. Yet in this moment we feel among friends.
