The weather may be heating up but June means music to our ears — literally. This month, celebrate music with Bookmans’ free music-themed events. From recycled instrument workshops to outdoor summer concerts, don’t miss the musical fun!

Music Month

Events are plentiful at every Bookmans location and in the surrounding neighborhoods. Each store showcases musical crafts, workshops and live performances. Bookmans Ina features the Cholla Blues Standard Workshop and an interactive performance by Tony Redhouse. Bookmans Speedway gets crafty with Recycled Instruments and shows their musical chops with the Tucson Open Band. Bookmans Grant taps into the sonic youth with School of Rock in the Lot. Try your hand at Sheet Music Origami, also at Bookmans Grant.  Bookmans Phoenix rocks downtown with Fridays in the Park and welcomes live musicians Nina Curri and Dan Rutland for Arts and Smarts in the City. Bookmans Mesa hosts live music by both Simon Wong and Marian Call. Tucson favorite Mr. Nature brings his Music Garden to Bookmans Mesa for Summer Kids Events.
