Easy Lorax Flowerpot Tutorial
Throw a kid-friendly Earth Day party the right way — with a Lorax celebration! Provide guests with floofy, yellow mustaches and put on your DVD of The Lorax. Afterward, use this Lorax flowerpot tutorial from Bookmans Midtown to create gifts to take home.
What you will need:
-1 clay flower pot.
-1 orange puff ball.
-1 yellow pipe cleaner (yarn also works).
-Hot glue gun (with adult assistance).
Step 1: Carefully using your hot glue gun, glue the orange puff ball on the pot where you would like the nose to be.
Step 2: Glue the eyes just above the nose.
Step 3: Cut your pipe cleaner into four pieces that are equal in length.
Step 4: Carefully glue two pipe cleaner pieces on either side of the nose.
Step 5: Plant your flower and watch it grow!
This year, Bookmans Midtown hosts their own Lorax party, a seusstacular Earth Day celebration. With the help of our very favorite entertainer, Silly Tassie, we’ll have face painting, crafts, games, prizes and the chance to plant your very own seeds. Bring out your inner Lorax and speak for the trees with Bookmans Midtown.
“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot. Nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
