The bar has been raised so high for comic book movies it’s hard to choose. The Thor series has genuinely been some of my favorite Marvel movies but Wonder Woman BLEW MY MIND. I guess if had to pick just one though it’d be Hellboy 2. That movie is gorgeous.
Without a doubt, my facvorite superhero is Deadpool. His humor alone was enough to catch my attention. Reading his stories throughout the years was hilarious. Ryan Reynolds really did the character justice in the Deadpool movie last year.
Tough to choose between Iron Man and The Dark Knight.
My favorite might be iron man. They casted the perfect person for the role. And while there was plenty of great action, they also added in a lot of comedy.
Guardians of the Galaxy (the first one) FOR SURE. Definitely broke the whole “let’s use established IP’s that can guarantee us that sweet, sweet moolah” thing that Hollywood had going on,
For me, being older, my love for superhero movie all started with Superman: The Movie ’78 and then, Batman ’89.
Guardians of the galaxy. It is fun, witty with a great sound track
Ant-Man
Most fun origin movie from Marvel thus far. Paul Rudd was surprisingly perfect for Scott Lang.
My favorite Spider-man (2002). The first superhero movie I’ve seen in theaters and my kids think its awesome too. Also has the Best supervillain Green Goblin.. Was so awesome when he caught Spider-mans punch like nothing “Impressive!” then kicks his @&#. The best superhero movie I’ve seen in theaters until Thor 2.
Dr. Strange is my favorite superhero movie. It was very unique in its storyline, its enemies and its heroes; it had great special effects; and it left us eager to see the next movie involving Dr. Strange. A family favorite!
Anything Batman I’m drawn to. But regarding the MCU I have to say nothing beats Ironman and cap! Both of those were great intro movies and set up the MCU we know and love today!
Guardians of the Galaxy!
I love it so much!
Hubby and I are dressing as star lord and star lady for Halloween!
???
I really love Guardians of the Galaxy and Deadpool, the humor and action are a great combination.
For me, nothing will ever top the original Christopher Reeve Superman. The whole family can watch it and it really set the bar high compared to all the cheesy superhero movies and serials before it.
