Ticket Tuesday: 2016 Phoenix Film Festival
**CONTEST CLOSED** The Phoenix Film Foundation presents the 16th Annual Phoenix Film Festival! The festival starts Thursday, April 7 and runs through Thursday, April 14. The PFF was named one of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals by MovieMaker Magazine and tops the Bookmans list of favorites. The event began in 2000 when independent filmmakers created an opportunity to showcase independent film making. PFF quickly became Arizona’s largest film festival. Today, we give away two festival passes to this incredible event.
PFF annually screens over 150 films, holds amazing parties and provides film making seminars to capacity audiences. Over 25,000 attendees enjoy the 8-day festival. The festival takes place in one convenient location and shows on seven screens at the Harkins Scottsdale 101. All parties and workshops occur on site so you won’t miss a thing. PFF is a program of the 501(c)(3) non-profit Phoenix Film Foundation.
To enter our Ticket Tuesday giveaway, tell us in our comment section about your go-to movie to watch over and over. Perhaps it’s a romantic comedy, horror classic or an action-packed thriller. For extra credit, impress us by quoting your favorite line. We will select a winner using random.org. Winners will be notified on Wednesday, April 6 by e-mail. Comments are moderated and may take some time to appear. Please do not resubmit your comments — one is plenty. **CONTEST CLOSED**
Good luck to all you film enthusiasts! This is an opportunity not to be missed. Check out all the information at the Phoenix Film Festival website. Also, if you like awesome and free events, be sure to see more what’s happening at a Bookmans near you!

Now you must promise not to tell anyone because it makes me especially weird (& old!), but it’s ‘Brazil:’ “He’s got away from us, Jack.”
So I Married An Axe Murderer…”Piper down! We have a piper down!!”
“Pee Wee’s Big Adventure” – The greatest movie ever made. It has it all, action, romance, comedy, dancing. I’ve seen it 100s of time and could quote the whole thing, but “I pity the fool who don’t like my cereal” is one that pops to mind. If you don’t like it, I don’t like you.
50 First Dates! “You erased me from your memory because you thought you were holding me back from having a happy and full life…but you made a mistake. Being with you is the only way I could have a full and happy life. You’re the girl of my dreams and apparently, I’m the man of yours.”
My Go-To Movie that never gets old is Pride & Prejudice. “You may only call me ‘Mrs. Darcy’… when you are completely, and perfectly, and incandescently happy.”
I love “The 40 Year Old Virgin” & “Airplane” so much that I quote from them often. Kevin Hart kills the scene at SmartTech and Striker’s profuse sweating as he tries to land makes me laugh out loud. Thank you for the opportunity!
I really enjoy good dramas and comedies. I just saw Hello, My Name Is Doris. The scene where she fantasizes about her much younger co-worker’s reaction to her spilling coffee on him was so funny. I hope she gets an Oscar nomination for her outstanding performance.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail — “It’s just a flesh wound!”
Congratulations to the winner! And thank you to Bookmans for the opportunity!
