Bookmans Sells Dead People
Zombies, vampires and beat poets! Hob nob with glib and ghostly characters this October as Bookmans Sells Dead People. Whether you desire a juicy undead romance or prefer a first-rate biography of Abraham Lincoln, we have you covered. You might even happen upon a copy of Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, the best of both worlds. Who knows what lurks around each orange bookshelf? Perhaps a figment of Kubrick’s imagination, the spirit of Poe’s Raven or the electric sparks of Shelley’s monster. Discover for yourself as we host creepy events that celebrate the most eerie time of year. From a sophisticated Zombie Fair to a cheeky Monster High Masquerade, Bookmans teems with spooky fun. This October, engage in bone-chilling good times and great works of those who are no longer with us … or are they?
Events abound in our stores and in our communities. Day of the Dead celebrations and Halloween parties take place at Bookmans locations in Tucson and Phoenix. Flagstaff holds an Abby Normal Movie Night featuring the Mel Brooks classic Young Frankenstein (pronounced: Franken-steen). Skulk into Star Wars Reads Day at Bookmans Speedway, Bookmans Ina and Bookmans Phoenix for intergalactic literary fun.
Bookmans also has a presence at festivals and events around Arizona including Wednesday Wind Up at Civic Space Park in Downtown Phoenix and the PBS Nerd Walk at Arizona State University in Tempe. We look forward to mysterious mischief this October. Please visit our Events Calendar to find out what’s happening in your stomping ground.
