Bells rang and classes dismissed. Parents are left entertaining young ones for nearly three hot, exhausting months. We love our kids. Their smiles intoxicate us as they cuddle in our arms. Little is as satisfying as watching children as they get that “aha” moment. Even so, occupying a child with educational and engaging activities all day, every day can be exhausting. Bookmans continues a tradition of boosting our free events for kids for the summer. Summer camps and classes are expensive and our goal is to remove the monetary barriers to participation. Every week this summer, your child can experience an eclectic range of activities. Make friends at the Musical Instrument Petting Zoo, travel the final frontier with Lowell Observatory and learn about the Treasure of Friendship with Moon Mermaid. There is so much fun to be had at Bookmans this Summer.

All Summer Kids Events at Bookmans Locations in Tucson are at 10 a.m. starting May 25, 2016.
* Wednesday activities are held at Bookmans Speedway.
* Thursday festivities take place at Bookmans Grant.
* Friday events occur at Bookmans Ina.

Bookmans locations to the north also host Free Summer Kids Events.
* Bookmans Mesa hosts from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays.
* Bookmans Phoenix hosts from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursdays.
* Bookmans Flagstaff hosts from 10 to 11 a.m. on Fridays.
