Are you in the holiday spirit? Holidays are a time full of for family, friends, parties, cookies and eggnog, while spending time watching your favorite holiday movie classics. Even though everyone has their everlasting favorites, I’ve put together a list of holiday classics that everyone can enjoy this season. So bring on the cookies and eggnog and let the holiday movie marathon start now.

Home Alone (1990)
Doesn’t every kid dream of having the house to themselves? 8-year-old Kevin accidentally left behind at home when his family goes on a holiday vacation. It’s all fun and games at first. Until his excitement ends when reality hits that two men have been planning to rob them, and it’s up to him to protect the family home.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
Another dysfunctional family Christmas…we can all relate to that on some sort of way. The holidays approach and Clark wants to have a perfect Christmas. As the family tries to make sure everything’s in order but things quickly go off course.

A Christmas Story (1983)
Ralphie Parker spends most of his time dodging a bully while dreaming of his perfect Christmas gift, a Red Ryder air rifle. Dealing with his cranky dad and comforted by his adoring mother, Ralphie scrambles to make it to Christmas Day with still having his glasses and his wishes.

Elf (2013)
Could you imagine being raised by Santa and his Elves? Buddy the elf was accidentally moved to the North Pole as a toddler and raised into adulthood by Santa’s elves. Years later as an adult Buddy travels to New York, in full spirit and elf attire, to find his real father.

Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
A little girl with the help of a lawyer must try and prove that a man claiming to be Santa Claus is the real deal. Christmas magic and wishes abound!

A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)
Charlie Brown overwhelmed by the materialism that he sees during the Christmas season. When an attempt to restore the real holiday spirit with a little tiny Christmas tree fails, Linus’ helps him remember what the real meaning of Christmas is.

These are just a few of my favorite, mixed with holiday classics. So if you’re not in the holiday spirit yet, there’s no better cure than a few holiday movies.
