***CONTEST CLOSED*** Ticket Tuesday – Howard the Duck with All Puppet Players!
***CONTEST CLOSED***
Have you ever wanted to see Howard The Duck on the big screen with wise-cracking puppets? The All Puppet Players are here to help you fulfill your cult-classic film fantasy with their puppets as they scream at the screen, crack jokes, and basically question why this movie was even made. We could tell you, but would rather you find out for yourself. Are you ready to win 2 tickets to see the screening on Saturday, May 18th at 8:00 PM? You’ll have the chance to see it all downtown at The Phoenix Theater Company.
Did you know that Howard the Duck was the FIRST MARVEL MOVIE to hit screens? Wait until the end for an audience Q & A where they will celebrate the good, bad, and the raunchy stuff about the film. Obviously, the eighties schlock has staying power since it currently sits at 15% on Rotten Tomatoes!
WARNING! All Puppet Players shows are for mature audiences with exceedingly immature tastes- (although tasting is not recommended due to the risk of fur balls) no one under 17 years of age will be permitted. Shows contain strong adult language and situations. Puppets can be unpredictable—so if you are of a sensitive nature or are easily offended—puppets don’t care.
Here’s how you can win!
To enter this Ticket giveaway, use our comment section to answer the following question:
Which worst of the worst film is actually your favorite? Even if it’s a guilty pleasure, we want to know!
We’ll allow 48 hours for entries – don’t let this chance pass you by. We’ll choose a winner via random.org on May 16. Bookmans will notify winners by e-mail used to comment on May 16. We moderate comments so they take some time to appear. One comment is plenty. The winner’s name will be added to the will-call list.

My favorite is definitely Howard the Duck. I absolutely love that movie. Especially the Howard the Duck song at the end. I thought Lea Thompson and Tim Robbins were great in it.
I love Troll 2. People say it’s the worst movie ever, but I think it’s hilarious!!
Dumb and Dumber. I love it and could watch it over and over again.
I have a secret love for Gremlins 2, an absolutely horrifying film – but absolutely delightful.
It’s not a secret anymore! 😉
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
“Ninja, Ninja, RAP!” Oh, boy. It’s terrible… “Go Ninjas, go ninjas, go!…” You just have to love it. ha ha!
#TrueStory I took my little brother to see every TMNT movie in the dollar theater that was near Maryvale as a child.
Has to be Howard the Duck. had such a crush on Lea Thompson.
I don’t think Howard the Duck was really bad, just a victim of its time. There are other movies like knights tale with Heath ledger or land of the lost with Will Ferrell that will always hold a place on my viewing shelf.
Garbage Pail Kids was probably one of the worst that I’ve seen. But I’ve watched it more than once. Lol.
Yusss! This! ?
Hudson Hawk, horribly good
