Ticket Tuesdays — Weezer and Panic! at the Disco
***Contest Closed***
Ever since they destroyed our sweaters in 1994, Weezer hasn’t let us walk away! Don’t Panic! They’re coming to Phoenix with none other than Panic! at the Disco. This epic show takes place Tuesday, August 2 at Ak-Chin Pavilion. Tickets start at $32 but you’re in luck! We will be giving away two tickets for free. This calls for a toast, so pour the champagne!
Since 1992, Weezer has delighted the public with hit after hit. Tracks like “Buddy Holly” and “Keep Fishing” hooked fans and we never let go. Formed in Los Angeles, the band consists of Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell and Scott Shriner. Together they have sold 9.2 million albums in the US and over 17 million worldwide.
Formed in 2004, Panic! at the Disco hails from sin city, Las Vegas and features Brendon Urie, Dallon Weekes, Kenneth Harris and Dan Pawlovich. As a pop/rock combo, Panic! at the Disco has taken alternative music to another level. They have pumped out catchy tunes such as “I write sins not Tragedies“, “Ready to Go (Get Me Out of My Mind)” and “Nine in the Afternoon“.
If you are a fan of either of these bands, you are not going to want to miss out on this eventful night. Bring your best friend, a date, or even your grandmother. This experience is going to rock you to your core and is almost sure to conjure nostalgic memories and have you creating more! What are you waiting for? There is nothing to lose, and plenty to gain. Such a cliche, but there has never been a point in life when “Buddy Holly” was song I was tired of hearing.
Only In Dreams ..and In The Garage are my jam 🙂
And I grew up listening to Panic! so I mUst include that my favoirte song is That Green Gentleman
My favorite Panic song would probably have to be Let’s Kill Tonight
Favorite Weezer jam? “The Sweater Song”. Favorite Panic! At The Disco song? That’s a little harder… I’m reeeeally digging “Death of a Bachelor” right now.
Weezer “Buddy Holly” because my grandfather saved a copy of the music video to his computer for when I’d visit. It’s one of my favorite memories, watching that video with him!
My favorite is probably island in the sun by Weezer.
Island in the sun is my favorite weezer song. My niece loves Panic! And July 20 is her 21st Bday and I’d love to take her
Nicotine by Panic! at the Disco is my current favorite…but always subject to change. The new King of the World single by Weezer is tickling my ears this week.
